"Research Projects Contest" for high school students in the U.S.

MEF Education Institutions in Istanbul have been coordinating "Research Projects Contests" for high school students within the fields of physics, chemistry and biology since 1992.

Along with high schools in Turkey, schools from the United States of America and 38 other countries from Europe, Central Asia, Middle East and South East Asia attended these exhibitions inthe past 22 years.

The aim of the project is to guide and support students in scientific studies and research.

Participating groups should be from high school equivalents and their projects should be inone of the following three fieldsof science:physics, chemistry and biology


Exhibition Time and Place:

  • The contest will be held in Istanbul, in the exhibition hall of MEF Schools.
  • The contest will be held between May 7-10, 2014.


The transfers, accommodation and meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) will be provided by the organization. Travel expenses to and from Istanbul will be paid by the participants. Groups participating in the contestwill consist of a maximum of 2 students and 1 teacher.

Free tours for historical, touristic and cultural programs will be at the service of participating students and teachers during the event.

The entire contest program will be held only in English.
